WA: Solo windsurfer reports illness on epic journey

Ten days into a bid to windsurf solo from Western Australia across the Indian Ocean
.. Frenchwoman RAPHAELA LE GOUVELLO's battling serious seasickness.

But the French team monitoring her says despite a burning stomach-ache and severe weakness
.. 45-year-old LE GOUVELLO'S still covering around 110 kilometres a day.

She's on a 75 day .. six-thousand-300 kilometre voyage from WA .. to the French island
of Reunion .. off Mauritius.

The windsurfing attempt is her fourth and follows successful crossings of the Atlantic
Ocean .. the Mediterranean Sea .. and the Pacific Ocean.
